What is Biolens?

Standardized Guarantees of Origin
Currently, there are as many manual ways of preparing Proof of Sustanability (PoS), Guarantees of Origin (GoO) and mass balances as there are players in the biomethane certificate market.
What they have in common, however, is that they must all be in accordance with the EU's renewable energy directive.
Certificates (now called guarantees of origin) are an essential trade system born from the necessity of a differentiation of natural gas and biomethane in energy trade contexts, as well as a valuation of the sustainability associated with the use of biomethane.
The requirements for the amount of information and not least the quality of the information embedded in the guarantees of origin are increasing as the industry develops.
The many manual current methods of preparing the documentation sometimes make it more complex or unclear.
The next development step in this industry development should be a standardization and digitization of data collection, handling and use.

Production optimization
